Big Greene Acres

I'm so pleased to be included in this annual event, commemorating all members of the Loved Ones musical group along with family and friends. Absent will be Doug Graham and Byrd Burton, who have joined God's Loved Ones. Members include Terry (BGT) Johnson, Mike Coyner, Ranse Whitworth, Alan Copeland and myself, along with other members of spinoff bands such as the B-Team Blues Band. We'll do some rehearsing on Friday (along with some swimming and some eating and possibly some adult refreshment), and the concert will be on Saturday. It's one of the most fun things I do each summer, and one of the most emotional too, as we have all grown back together again - even closer than we were back "in the day".

It’s a smaller version of the popular Sunday Market just for the downtown crowd.  Held at the centrally-located Miller Plaza, the Thursday Plaza Party is a family-friendly marketplace featuring fresh produce, local arts & crafts, live music, fresh-squeezed lemonade and even an ice-cold beer. This is the annual FUTURE OF MUSIC COALITION Policy Summit, a forum for musicians, lawyers, academics, policymakers and music industry executives to come together to discuss and debate some of the most contentious issues surrounding digital technology, artists’ rights and the current state of the music industry.
